An onmyoji with a kagura bell, walking through the night

Rhythm-Action RPG | In Development for iOS & Android

KaguraMai: Kyoto Nocturne

神樂舞:京夜律章

Dance to the rhythm. Purify the night.

As darkness falls over Heian-kyo, spirit flames flicker and yokai begin to stir. Bell in hand, an onmyoji steps into the night, casting spells to the rhythm and purifying the yokai that wander through Kyoto.

The Concept

What Is This Game?

Rhythm as Ritual

Purify spirit flames to the beat, draw spells, form hand seals, and unleash onmyoji techniques through music-driven combat. With generous rhythm timing, even players new to rhythm games can enjoy the feeling of performing a purification ritual with their own hands.

Journey Through the Nights of Heian-kyo

Travel through Heian-period Kyoto alongside your moon-rabbit shikigami, visiting rivers, shrines, wilderness, and mountain paths as you search for the source of each supernatural disturbance. Every chapter features its own setting, legend, and atmosphere, revealing a different side of Kyoto after dark.

Every Yokai Has a Story

Yokai are more than enemies waiting to be defeated. Capture rare golden spirit flames, complete the hand-seal sequence, and recover the memories they leave behind. Piece together their pasts, discover why they remain in this world, and uncover the stories that legends failed to preserve.

Every battle is a ritual of purification. Every purification is also a farewell.
